Wicked Dogs Bar: BGC’s Ultimate Hangout for Food, Drinks and Laughs
Manila, Philippines — Located in the bustling Bonifacio Global City in the Philippines, Wicked Dogs Bar Uptown BGC is the latest addition to the city’s thriving bar scene. With its warm and welcoming atmosphere, coupled with delicious food, wide selection of drinks and a packed schedule of comedy nights, the cool bar is quickly becoming the go-to spot for locals and tourists alike.
The original Wicked Dogs was first established by JB Potenciano in Poblacion, Makati. The place was known for its sandwiches with one-of-a-kind variety of gourmet hotdogs.
Wicked Dogs has been then owned by Teddy Reyna since 2018. Teddy was later joined by his business partner Jay, who just went into the bar for a drink but ended up becoming a partner at Wicked Dogs. Whilst many bars closed down during the lengthy lockdowns, Wicked Dogs has managed to survive and has since really thrived. Wicked Dogs in Poblacion recently expanded to triple in size, leading Teddy and Jay to open a second branch of Wicked Dogs in BGC last June 2022.
Although the concept has evolved over the years, Wicked Dogs has not forgotten its roots as a family restaurant with the best hotdog sandwiches in town. Two top chefs have been working on a recent addition to the menu, with quality comfort food featuring a delicious mix of classic pub favorites and innovative new dishes.
The Wasabi Dog is a best-seller– a Japanese-inspired hotdog topped with wasabi mayo, katsu sauce, and sprinkled with seaweed chips cut into short, thin strips. Meanwhile, the Tijuana Bacon Dog is also known as the “Danger Dog,” originated in Tijuana in the 1950s and has a variety of versions. Wicked Dogs’ version originated from New Jersey and is wrapped in bacon and deep fried to perfection. Topped with cheese sauce, chili con carne, fried egg, the Danger Dog is a great combination of all these delicious toppings.
Also one of the standouts in the menu is the bar’s signature drink:Teddy’s Going Home. Not for the faint hearted or inexperienced, Teddy’s Going Home is a powerful mixture of spirits and various other ingredients. The drink has become more than just a drink, as it has become more of a challenge, a right of passage, and something that certainly sticks in the memory. #Teddysgoinghome is the perfect way to kick off a night of laughter and good times.

Tuesday nights are open mic and are open to anyone that wishes to get up try something new or test their new material. Wicked Dogs has the perfect balance of venue size and easy going party goers to provide a ‘safe space’ for newbies wanting to try new things.
