Under the DOT’s Administrative Order 2020-006-A, the following guidelines must be observed:
- Staycation guests shall be required to present a negative result from a Rapid Antigen Test conducted on the same day of check-in.
- Guests may Staycation in accommodation establishments with Certificate of Authority to Operate located in the same province as their residence. For this purpose, the National Capital Region shall be considered a province.
- Guests sharing rooms must be from the same household. Guests shall be required to present proof of residency such as a government or company ID with a residential address.
- Individuals of all ages, except those with comorbidities or are currently pregnant, are permitted to go on Staycation in DOT-Accredited Accommodation Establishments.
