Manila, Philippines– Miss Universe 2015 titleholder and actress Pia Wurtzbach opened the 10th anniversary runway show of fashion designer Michael Leyva at the iconic Philippine ladmark National Museum of Natural History.
Leyva unleashed his collection dubbed as “Hiraya Manawari” at the historic event, showcasing a parade of intricate couture creations.
“Queen @piawurtzbach opening my 10th anniversary show in gold beaded cutout gown,” Leyva captioned his Instagram post, sharing the photos of the beauty queen on his IG page.
Other Filipino stars who walked for the show were comedian Vice Ganda and Asia’s Songbird Regine Velasquez.
Pia shared her own experience from the show in an Instagram post, saying, “This night felt like a dream unfolding. Michael’s 10th anniversary fashion show is a tribute to his late brother, Brian Leyva who was the first fashion designer in the family. He became Michael’s inspiration to be a designer himself. Some of the pieces in the runway were designed by his brother and together, their story and creations truly came to life in this collection. Congratulations and Happy 10th @michaelleyva_ I’m inspired by your story and I’m happy & grateful to be part of this milestone.”
