Street Style Standout Trends During Milan Fashion Week S/S 2021
The fashion world is slowly going back to presenting physical runway shows– with social distancing protocols and safety measures, of course. One of the best things during the fashion week season is the street style, and it is especially more fun and fierce when it is in Milan!
A lot of street style scene-stealers are seen wearing face masks this recent season of Milan Fashion Week. Most of them donned autumnal tones, while some rocked pastel-colored ensembles.
Here are our favorite street style trends from Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2021:
HEAD-TO-TOE BLACK
As they always say, head-to-toe black just never goes out of style. The classic go-t0 black ensembles are still at it, as heavily seen on fashion show goers and influencers in Milan. From wools to leathers, black is just fierce.
A pop of color in your accessories is a nice touch too.
TAILORED SUITS
Tailored suits are a big trend today especially for women. Women have borrowed double-duty clothes from men’s closets because number one, they are comfy as hell to move in, and secondly, they’re effortlessly sleek. The menswear inspiration has been evolving for years into chic pantsuits, and bootleg pants paired with puffed blazers– workin’ all the more in monochromatic styling. The menswear look on women was also seen in various runway shows in Milan the past month.
PASTELS AND COLORBLOCK
Pastels are just not gonna go anywhere soon. They don’t really scream autumn/fall but we’re here for it! This unconventional candy-colored madness graced numerous ensembles seen on fashion influencers. From bodysuits to coords, they just work. And hey, extra points for some colorblocking effort!
FRINGE
This trend is usually popular during the summer season, but bold dressers would not shy away from them during fashion week season in Milan! Fringes are seen in various outfits, as well as in outlandish accessories and bags.
PUFFY SLEEVES
Puffy sleeves are the easiest way to catch the attention of fashion paps. Be it minimalistic puffed sleeves, or bold, they’re fashionable. But the more exaggerated, the better.
BEIGE & BROWNS
Beige and brown ensembles never fail because they’re subtle yet chic. Dressing in these burnished shades always calls for a stylish look no matter what. From bags, coats, and shoes, buff neutrals have stood out this season.
It’s nice to see fashion-goers back again in attending physical shows during fashion weeks. Some of the trends mentioned above are only getting bigger and expect them to see in the future! Which among our list is your favorite? Let us know in the comments!
