Okada Manila Set to Host Philippine Fashion Circle Awards II on October 2023

Manila, Philippines– The Philippine fashion scene is gearing up for a dazzling affair that promises to celebrate and honor the finest talents in the industry. PFCA Charities proudly presents the “Philippine Fashion Circle Awards II: A Salute to Philippine Fashion,” set to grace the illustrious Okada Manila Grand Ballroom on October 25, 2023, starting at 4 p.m. This much-anticipated event, presented by VM Design, will be a milestone evening that inaugurates the Fashion 360 Awards—an initiative dedicated to recognizing brilliance in fashion design and lifestyle innovation.

An event steeped in grandeur and meaning, the runway will be graced by esteemed patrons recognized as “Ambassadors of Hope.” These luminaries will not only lend their presence but also their generosity as they contribute to PFCA charities—a testament to the industry’s commitment to social responsibility.

The heart of the evening will beat with the pulse of creativity as PFCA designers take center stage, showcasing their exceptional work. Awards will be bestowed upon those who demonstrate an artful fusion of indigenous and commercial materials, resulting in designs that captivate and resonate. The creations will come to life on the runway, weaving a narrative that melds tradition and innovation in a single breath.

The spotlight will converge on the breathtaking collections of two luminaries: Albert Andrada and Amir Sali. Their creations will illuminate the runway, reflecting the culmination of their creative journeys and their profound impact on Philippine fashion.

BrandAsia will elevate the event with two special segments: the Contoura Medica Art + Beauty Event and the Philippine Fashion Wear Show and Awards. These collaborations will spotlight excellence in both artistic expression and the retail sector, adding layers of depth to an already riveting evening.

The event is not only a celebration of the present but also a reverent acknowledgment of the past. The departed luminaries who have shaped and defined the Philippine fashion industry will be honored, a poignant reminder of their enduring influence.

The essence of the evening goes beyond glitz and glamour—it’s about uplifting lives. All proceeds from sponsorships and fundraising endeavors will be channeled into meaningful causes. PFCA Sunshine Village, a sustainable community initiative, takes center stage, dedicating itself to empowering the underprivileged, elderly, and disabled members of the LGBTQIA+ community in their sunset years. In the spirit of compassion, beneficiaries also include the Sweet Haven Rehabilitation Center in Cebu and the Home for Abandoned Babies of the Carmelite Sisters in Zamboanga.

A pinnacle moment of the evening will be the conferral of the Legendary Grand Master of Style award upon Michael Cinco. This prestigious recognition is a tribute to his unwavering commitment to raising the global profile of Filipino designers—a trailblazing endeavor that has garnered international acclaim.

With the Fashion 360 Awards, PFCA introduces three distinct categories that encapsulate the multifaceted essence of the industry. “Fashion Trailblazers” will commend emerging talents and trendsetters, “Fashion Visionaries” will celebrate those who redefine industry benchmarks, and “Pillars of Philippine Fashion” will honor timeless creations that stand as enduring masterpieces.

As the Philippine Fashion Circle Awards II approaches, the anticipation grows. It’s an event that transcends mere glamour; it’s a celebration of creativity, excellence, compassion, and a salute to the enduring spirit of Philippine fashion.
