We never thought that wearing a mismatched pair of shoes would actually become a fashion trend. It might be long considered  a fashion faux pas, but Virgil Abloh’s new Off-White™ shoes proved us wrong. 

Recently, the luxury streetwear brand released a mismatched pair of shoes designed by Virgil Abloh. The pair consists of a black leather derby and a white tennis sneaker. Even though it is a bizarre pairing, the bold pair actually have a few minimal common denominators– starting with a rubber icy blue sole, the Off-White™ cursive branding imprinted on the tongues as both have yellow linings, and lastly, both feature a leather arrow patch in opposite colors.

We’ve seen a lot of bizarre fashion trends for the past decade, but this pair is currently on the top of our list. Priced at $605 USD, wearing this pair might be a bold choice depending on someone’s taste. But let’s all admit that when we see this worn by someone, this would actually start a conversation. This pair is as crazy as this year, but this mutant footwear experiment could potentially be famous enough to take over future fashion seasons.
