MET 2022 Gala has officially begun! And first to hit the red carpet is Filipina-American actress Vanessa Hudgens in a black sheer gown with super long trail by Italian luxury house Moschino, designed by its celebrated creative director Jeremy Scott.
The “Queen of Coachella” surely knows how to rock the MET fashion scene too with her see-through with lace decals and embroidery on the bodice, puff sleeves and a high neckline, as she’s also taken on the stint of co-host for Vogue’s 2022 Met Gala Livestream alongside La La Anthony and Vogue editor-at-large Hamish Bowles on May 2 in New York.
Vanessa also went cray-cray on the bling, wearing a pair of stunning drop earrings, diamond cuff bracelet and a number of dazzling rings. If you look closely, her lingerie-baring couture featured sleeves that are reminiscent of the infamous Filipiniana butterfly sleeves, which may just be a shoutout to her Filipina heritage.
The 33-year-old actress’ bho-chic princess vibe is a breath of fresh air, following her busy awards season and the success of Netflix’s musical “Tik,Tik…Boom.” This marks Hudgens’ second time attending the prestigious fashion event with her 2015 appearance in a ruby red bejeweled gown designed by H&M, worn with an elegant face veil and gorgeous shoulder-grazing earrings to commemorate the year’s “China: Through the Looking Glass” exhibition. This year’s Met Gala theme is “In America: An Anthology of Fashion.”
