Manila, Philippines — Cosmetics line Ready Set Glow introduced Filipino showbiz royalty and rising Hollywood actress Lovi Poe as its new endorser.

In an official statement, the brand expressed that the star’s an obvious choice for Ready Set Glow, as “Lovi embodies the RSG woman – fun, fearless, and is not afraid to express herself and her individuality.”

Late last year, the actress made international headlines as she wrapped up filming Hollywood biopic “The Chelsea Cowboy” — an upcoming movie poised to tackle the life of actor and gangster John Bindon.

Lovi bagged the role of British blues singer Dana Gillespie, who hired Bindon as security —  giving him access to the high life.

“One of the producers and the writer of ‘The Chelsea Cowboy’ reached out to my management and asked me to read for the part. It was as simple as that. I read for the part, forgot about it and a few weeks after, it happened,” Lovi shared in a media interview.

The Filipino actress is a great choice for the role as she’s also a musician, delighting music fans with her 2021 R&B song “Candy” which is easily a cute bop. Her vocal styling in the single is impressive, an audio treat against the Cali-vibin’ backdrop of the music video which sees Lovi dancing in roller skates. 

Marian Lao-Siggaoat, co-founder of Ready Set Glow, emphasized that Poe’s artistry resonates well with the makeup brand.

“She is passionate about her artistry as an  actress and as a musician, receiving accolades here and abroad. She’s not just another pretty face  in the crowd. Her true beauty also comes from health, wellness, and peace of mind. This  contemporary femininity is the epitome of an RSG woman,” Marian said.

Meanwhile in the new RSG campaign, Lovi is an eyecandy donning a Y2K hairstyle and millennium-inspired fashion statement against the trendy graphic eyeliner and glossy lips in coral, highlighting her glowing skin.
