K-Drama’s New Breed of Style Queens that We Adore

Ever wondered why Korean dramas have been such a huge craze for years? Aside from the gripping storylines, the style inspo in K-Dramas is on another level. The outfits are just worth-copying IRL. The thrill you can feel about the outfits makes you wanna rummage through your closet so you can put together K-inspired OOTDs, or simply go online shopping!

Whether you’re a die-hard or a newbie, being a K-Drama addict is made much funner by the fashion aspect of all of it. And the new K-Drama trendsetters are making it extra-exciting lately.

I’ve listed down here some female characters in recently raved K-Drama hits that we’re obsessing because of their distinctive styles:

The Tough Corporate Chick

Feisty lady lawyer Hong Cha-Young, played by actress Jeon Yeo-Bin, totally owns the sleek powersuit fashion in the hit series Vicenzo

Her go-to looks are monochromatic streamlined suits, or chic long-sleeved turtlenecks. She’s also pretty big in stylish purses, and luxury earrings from Tiffany & Co., Swarovski and Cartier.

Her monochromatic look in canary color is capped off with a stylish Bottega Veneta bag

One of her most memorable looks yet is her polished look in neutral turtleneck paired with a muted pink pantsuit:

The all-pink ensemble is from designer brand LYNN. Of course, we love the Margot classic satchel bag, and her Swarovski Time hoop pierced earrings. The relaxed yet powerful demeanor of her personal style is a great contrast to the ballsy attitude of the character.

The Print Queen

Seo Dan-Ah is a sports agency CEO, played by K-Pop star and actress Sooyoung, in the popular show Run On. She’s another fave fashionista in K-Drama lately because she’s not afraid at all to don bold patterns, and she is huge on print-on-print outfits, too.

One of her top looks in the show that fans have literally Googled is her patterned co-ord Sandro Paris, a jacquard jacket and shorts combo:

The unexpected pairing of the ensemble with tights and sports shoes is what made the look note-worthy among fashion fans. She completed the look with a Carmen small Saffiano satchel from Michael Kors, and a pair of signature earrings from DIDIER DUBOT.

The Luxurious Villainess

Arrogant and ambitious Cheon Seo-Jin, played by actress Kim So-Yeon, is another scene-stealing style queen that K-Drama fans certainly love to love and hate. She is an interesting character in the international hit Korean series The Penthouse: War In Life. The show’s genius plot and extravagant styling really captured the viewers’ interest.

Socialite Cheon Seo-Jin’s distinct style is experimental, modern and posh. She totally nailed the art of unique layering and outlandish styling.

Fans drooled on this Diane One-Shoulder Polka Dot Frill Dress

One of her prominent looks is this CHAEnewyork leopard fur, paired with hyeres-lor studs:

Seriously, it is not hard to see why we’re all hooked in all these popular K-Drama series. The plots are as amazing as the fashion sense of the series. I’m sure by now you’re inspired to get creative and put together outfits inspired by these K-Drama style queens! And we totally get it!
