MANILA, Philippines – Head In The Clouds Music & Arts Festival, a fete dubbed as the “Asian Coachella” by fans worldwide but actually originated in Los Angeles in California, is finally set to make its Southeast Asian debut as it arrives in Manila!
88rising’s globally recognized festival is happening on December 9-10, 2022 at the SM Festival Grounds in Parañaque City.
Head In The Clouds Music & Arts Festival usually boasts over 60,000 attendees at the iconic Rose Bowl in LA, and is the first festival of its kind devoted to celebrating Asian artists from around the globe.
The fest is being promoted in the Philippine capital city by LiveMNL, the activation agency of KROMA Entertainment.
“Head In The Clouds Festival is a unique cultural celebration in itself, and not just another music event. LiveMNL believes that bringing HITC to Southeast Asia seals 88rising’s reputation as a top-notch curator and supporter of growing Asian youth influence worldwide,” shared Denise Seva of LiveMNL.
The first editions of Head In The Clouds in Southest Asia will be in Jakarta Indonesia and Manila, Philippines. Both events are set to feature trailblazing artists from around the world, plus culturally-inspired art and food experiences, with a unique and immersive live music production as your backdrop.
“We’re incredibly proud to bring Head in the Clouds to Manila and the Philippines, a city and country so close to so many of our hearts and families. We’re excited to build an unforgettable experience for our fans at Head in the Clouds Manila, because for us, that means everything,” 88rising CEO Sean Miyashiro said in a statement.
