I’ve been wanting to color my hair for quite a while, but I’m still too scared to go back to the salon. So I was so excited that I could try this premium do-it-yourself hair color kit that might just be the solution to my current beauty woes.

I chose the 11PB Pink Brown color, since I’ve always wanted to try to have some hints of bronzed-like, copper color on my hair. Now before anything else, you should know that my jet black hair is absolutely and naturally stubborn when it comes to absorbing any sorts of hair color chemicals. So it really takes some expertise to successfully color it, which is the reason why I know I have to go to a professional salon if I want a decently done color on my hair. Even a couple of premium local salons failed to color my hair in the past, even when they had let their formulations sit on my hair for four long hours! These hair experts told me it was because my hair was too healthy and smooth that any chemicals won’t just stick to it.

I am no expert in coloring my hair of course. But since I know that this DIY coloring kit is made by a premium South Korean beauty brand and a top-level salon at that, I was pretty confident I was going to have those bronzed/copper strands I’ve always liked. My first impression upon opening the kit was that I definitely loved that it came with a container, plastic hand gloves, hair comb and plastic cover to protect my clothes and skin from stains, and that the two tubes of formulations can easily be mixed together. No complicated steps to mix them, the instructions were pretty straightforward and super easy.

So after mixing both two tubes of color ingredients, I applied them on my hair and let it sit for 35 minutes. I loved that it did not have a strong scent, nor a strong sting on my scalp or skin while waiting. I could tell they’re really made of natural ingredients because they felt gentle and light on my hair and scalp. When I looked up on the net, Jennyhouse Premium Hair Color Kit actually has Centella Asiatica Extract that soothes the scalp and hair, which can also lessen hair damage. It also has Olive Oil so it doesn’t stain, plus Hydrokeratin that provides coating and the nutrition the hair needs. It also has Galactomyces Ferment Filtrate that recovers damaged hair and provides a shining conditioning effect.

I have a very sensitive skin, so it takes so little for me to have skin rashes. But the entire process did not make my arms or neck itch, nor did it cause my skin some rash– which just tells you that the formulation is indeed all-natural, top-level, safe and gentle.

When it was time to wash my hair, I noticed that it felt easy and gentle to rinse the formulation off my hair too. And when it was time to check it out, I absolutely loved the final look of my hair– so much so that I got so inspired to glam myself up with a bronzed makeup look. The color complemented my morena skin, and I truly felt like a golden princess!

To be able to achieve this hair color for less than an hour at the convenience of my home and with very simple, absolutely hassle-free, doable steps, I would definitely say that Jennyhouse Premium Hair Color Kit is such a major win!
