Café Kitsuné Arrives in Manila

Manila, Philippines — French-Japanese specialty coffee retailer Café Kitsuné has arrived in Manila.

Café Kitsuné was first launched in Tokyo in the Aoyama neighborhood with a modernist reinterpretation of a classic Parisian café. The café has since opened branches in other highly-coveted metropolitan cities such as New York, Paris, Seoul, , Shanghai, Jakarta, and Bangkok. Each café stays true to its signature modern Parisian café, with wine bar look and feel with a little local vibe of each of its global location. Café Kitsuné offers a warm, sensory dining experience, be it for an early morning coffe, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner or night cocktails.

More than the café aesthetic, Café Kitsuné has built its cult following worldwide with its single-origin coffee beans from Brazil and Guatemala, which are roasted with utmost care. These make every cup of cappuccino, espresso, nitro and cold brew invitingly delicious, especially with hints of cherry and chocolate.

First launched in 2013 in Tokyo, Café Kitsuné is the café brand of fashion and music label Kitsuné, which was founded by Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki. This explains why this chic café has clothing and merchandise stalls inside.

For its fashion brand, founders Loaëc and Kuroki envisioned a mix of simplicity, comfort and sophistication  with classic and timeless aesthetic,  yet with still the use of daring and playful colors and designs.

Coffee-lovers in Manila can of course enjoy sumotuous dishes too, such as beef teriyaki tartare with bacon, fried egg,  croque-monsieur with tuna, and the cafe’s signature burgers. The dessert menu is also attractive with its carpaccio served with Sichuan pepper and Thai basilic syrup, and fruit-flavored mochis, while the drink list of delish cocktails and drinks make for a fun night to wrap your day. There are also Manila-exclusive drinks like coconut & caramel latte, banana & caramel latte and mango latte!

Café Kitsuné‘s first location in Manila is at The Podium in Ortigas, Pasig. Follow the cafe’s page for updates here.
