Jisoo of South Korean supergroup BLACKPINK has been making news lately because of her upcoming K-Drama series Snowdrop. Jisoo is going to play lead female character Eun Young Cho, a university student who got involved with fellow-student Im Soo Ho played by Jung Hae In.
The show’s backdrop is the 1987 Korean Democracy Movement, making the series a little more interesting. Recently, the official teaser of the show has been released by JTBC:
Although Snowdrop has been Jisoo’s much-anticipated project recently, the K-Pop star has been known as someone who’s into acting for quite a while. She made several cameos over the years in dramas such as Arthdal Chronicles and The Producers. Jung Hae In, on the other hand, is a seasoned K-Drama actor with a lot of successful series under his belt. He has acted in dramas such as One Spring Night, Something in the Rain and many more.
Jisoo’s Cute Fashion & Beauty Moments
BLACKPINK has been known in the K-Pop scene as one if not the most fashionable idols ever, with outrageous fashion looks during their live performances. But each of them knows how to steal the scene with their offstage styles too. Before we welcome Jisoo’s new series character, we want to gather here some of her prettiest fashion and beauty moments when she’s not belting notes on stage. Be it high fashion pieces or casual laidback looks, this K-Pop star shines with her fashion sense.
In March 2021, the visual of BLACKPINK was named the global ambassador of French luxury house Dior for both fashion and beauty. In fact, the stunner was the main inspiration of Dior’s creative director and designer Maria Grazia Chiuri for the brand’s fall/winter collection. You can see a lot of snaps on Instagram with Jisoo showcasing Dior– from iconic purses, clothes, to cosmetics:
Aside from Dior, Jisoo has also been well-chronicled to don other amazing luxury brands through the years. During the Spring/Summer 2020 Collection showcase of Burberry, the idol was super-loved for her preppy ensemble in London, United Kingdom:
She’s also seen in a Burberry printed tee offstage:
She’s all about Burberry too in this outfit– from her monogram cardigan, bag to boots:
Be it a simplistic outfit, Jisoo still injects a high fashion piece–like this cardigan top from Vivienne Westwood:
Her airport looks are cute too. Here, she is seen rocking a feminine outfit with a beret hat and an Alexander Wang bag:
This K-Pop star slays in street fashion and athleisure too. She looks awesome in this oversized jacket, making the entire thing a cool off-duty look:
She can make a simple graphic tee and jeans a whole fashion mood:

The New Queen of K-Drama
With much anticipation surrounding Snowdrop, we’re expecting a totally new Jisoo– with maybe softer, even more feminine styling. After all, Snowdrop is a mix of fictional and non-fictional story. It has some political and historical background about South Korea in year 1987, with some hints of dark-comedy, melodrama, satire thriller and romance. We can’t wait to meet and get to know more of Jisoo’s Eun Young Cho!
