Bella Poarch is taking the social media world by storm after her historical “M to the B” lip-sync video on TikTok, which holds the most liked video on the app ever. Besides humorous TikTok videos and catchy pop music, the Filipino-American is also known for her gorgeous babyface features and effortless makeup looks.

Have you ever wondered how the “Build a B*tch” star manages to be beautiful all the time? Luckily for us, she shared her beauty and makeup routine in  Vogue’s Beauty Secrets and we’re here to spill the tea. 

Skincare

Bella has effortlessly beautiful skin but she still knows the importance of having a proper skincare prep routine. She started cleaning her face with La Roche-Posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser. After tapping her face with a towel, she proceeded to slather on some good ol’ Mario Badescu Vitamin C Serum. Bella said that she feels that vitamin C is important, and we totally agree with her on this.  After which, she sprayed on some Evian Brumisateur Natural Mineral Water Facial Spray and put on a dollop of Tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream Plumping and Hydrating Moisturizer. She topped off everything with a layer of Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protector Sunscreen SPF 50+.

“Growing up in the Philippines, my mom didn’t really give me any skincare tips. I have aunts that would tell me to put on sunscreen,” the tanned beauty said. 

Makeup Base

After her simple skincare routine, Bella moved on to perfect her base. For her foundation, Bella used two pumps of  Morphe Filter Effect Soft-Focus Foundation. Bella first used her fingers to apply the foundation and then, later on, used a beauty sponge to evenly blend the product on her face. 

After a few minutes of blending the foundation, Bella whipped out her NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer and used it on her undereye areas, nose tip, chin, and forehead. She used a makeup sponge again to blend the concealer. 

Eyebrows

With the base now perfected, Bella is ready to do her eyebrows. The Tiktok star used Benefit Cosmetics Goof Proof Waterproof Easy Shape and Fill Eyebrow Pencil to give her eyebrows more definition.  Bella‘s style is more on the natural look, so she only did little touches to make her eyebrows look fuller. 

Cheeks and Lips

Bella sculpted her face with the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Matte Bronzer. She started to put the bronzer on her forehead,  sides of her cheeks, and jawline with a big fluffy brush.  The social media personality and singer added that she likes to contour her nose. Using her fingers, Bella contoured the sides of her nose for that natural shadow. For her lips, Bella used the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat Lip Liner in Pillow to line her lips and swiped Gucci Rouge de Beaute Brillant Glow and Care Shine Lipstick to complete the look.

By now, the Filipino-American beauty is ready to divulge how she creates that signature blush look or what she refers to as the “classic M to the B sunburn look”. 

“The trick to it is not to put the blush too close to the eyes and make it look like you got sunburn,” Bella shared while gently dabbing some Tarte Amazonian Clay 12 Hour Blush on her cheeks and nose bridge for that sun-kissed look. She also said that her blush was inspired by anime series that she watched growing up.

To achieve glowy skin in her videos, Bella said that her secret is using highlighter. In the Vogue video, she used Dior DiorSkin Nude Luminizer Shimmering Glow Powder Highlighter to highlight the edge of her nose, on her chin, and her cheekbones. 

Eyes

Bella already has eyelash extensions on so she only needs to use a minimum amount of makeup to make her eyes pop. With the same highlighter, she used a small brush to apply a dot of shimmer to the inner corner of her eyes. The cap off everything, she used a spoolie brush to comb through her eyelash extensions. 

Final Touches

Now that her makeup is all done, Bella took off her headband and showed how she styles her long, jet-black mane using the Drybar The Brush Brush Heated Straightening Brush to achieve her signature straight hair with parted bangs.
