Manila, Philippines — I don’t know about you but for me, a good self-care day involves an amazing facial treatment from a medical aesthetic clinic you can trust. And personally, a visit at the Vine Holistic Medical Aesthetics in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig for a skincare session is always divine.  And recently, I’ve tried the Vine Signature Facial, and it has truly done wonders to my facial skin.

I got to chitchat a little with the founder and head doctor at Vine Holistic Medical Aesthetics: CEO Dr. Emehly Sevilla, or Dr. Em to her clientele, to tell me more about the facial treatment.

“Vine Signature Facial Treatment is a medical grade level of cleaning the face, whilst relaxing the cells through our very own cell massage stimulation, increasing blood circulation of the capillaries. Thus, it encourages lymphatic drainage,” Dr. Em explained to me.

Dr. Em told me the importance of sterile technique in their clinics.

“We practice sterile technique, as well as discarding all consumables used per patient basis. We don’t use reusable materials. Unlike other clinics that use re-usable equipment across their patients, which is a no-no for us! The contamination of warts or virus, bacteria, fungus and mites is high when such reusable materials touch from one face to another — thus spreading the contamination from one person to another,” she expounded.

There were three procedures done to me during the Vine Signature Facial. Of course, it started with the basic cleansing, scrub, pricking of blackheads and facial massage, then later on followed by the usage of exquisitely effective aesthetic beauty machines.

One of which was the diamond peel machine, used for the pristine microdermabrasion skin technology that removes dead skin cells. 

The next machine used was my personal favorite, which was the aqua radiance machine for oxygen hydration of the skin. This part right here infuses vitamin c into the skin, and you can instantly see the cleansing and brightening effects onto the skin. It was followed by seaweed facial mask, which was minty and relaxing to the skin.

I later on got to experience the magic of the facial steamer machine, which was totally a rejuvenating process too. I already could see that my skin looked clearer and softer right after it.

The Vine Signature Facial Treatment was an extensive facial treatment with a three procedures in one go approach. It cleared my facial skin from warts, blackheads and pimples, while the vitamin c infusion, skin hydration and skin steaming had instant effects on skin, and the sesh was relaxing. I was instructed by their friendly staff to not wash my face with any other skincare products for a few hours after the treatment. 

Dr. Em further shared that safety, hygiene and comfort are the top priorities at Vine.

“Our facial is fairly tolerable. It’s not painful, that’s why most of our vine patrons would fall asleep while they are being thoroughly cleaned. Sulit na sulit sa bayad, as we practice value for money. This procedure is a must at least once or twice a month to keep your skin healthy, clean, smooth and glowing. This alone can help your basic maintenance for a healthy glowing face.”
