Beatrice Luigi Gomez, the Philippine representative for the Miss Universe competition this year, stuns in a photo series with esteemed fashion photographer Dookie Ducay— wearing a modern red velvet dress with mesh details by Filipino fashion designer Yeye Pantaleon. 

Styled by Ryuji Shiomitsu and his team, the dress looks even chicer on Beatrice with accessories by KATAW.

“This gown worn by our MUPH Queen Beatrice Luigi Gomez is made from velour fabric– and  embellished with rhinestone trimmings and net mesh,” Yeye Pantaleon shared in an exclusive Stylish Magazine interview.

“One thing I observed about Queen Bea is how she looks at you with her piercing, beautiful eyes! The way she stares is too sharp, it is like it can cut you! Which is why I wanted something which would compliment those striking eyes of hers, with the same fierceness and fiery aura felt in this gown. So this dress on Queen Bea is really spot-on. It was what I really wanted to see on her,” the designer concluded.

The beauty queen was glammed up by makeup artist Lei Ponce and hair stylist Valerie Corpuz for the said shoot. 

Beatrice is competing for the Universe crown on December 12, 2021, 7:00PM at Universe Arena, Port of Eilat in Eilat, Israel. That’s December 13, 2021 at 8:00AM Philippine time– and you can watch it via ABS-CBN through A2Z Channel 11.
